Beijer installs charging station for research into charging-data of EV’s

Publié: 22 mai 2015

LaadpaalBeijer engineers have begun to dig into the present parameters of electric vehicles (EV’s) in order to gather more knowledge about the vehicle data from electric cars combined with the charging infrastructure. Recently a charging station was installed on the Beijer premises for the EV’s of Beijer employees that will be used in the study.

Many interesting data have been resolved, such as:

EV parameters

Manufacturers of charging stations who want to offer reliable, cost-effective and smart services to transport companies, municipalities, educational institutions and car manufacturers, look forward to the results. Possible applications where one thinks of are:

  • Smart route calculation by combining the range of the vehicle with available charging points on the route
  • Access to the extent of actual hybrid-use of hybrid vehicles
  • Access to the energy actually from the socket is converted into kilometres driven
  • Efficient use of the electricity network by smart charging / smart distribution planning and loading facilities
  • Automatic vehicle recognition and loading release on charging stations
  • Applications for e-riders

Applications in which Beijer vehicle sensor data is a distinguishing factor.
