Apparently someone had previously wired the unwired output of the Body Computer to supply the desired signal to the system to be built in. In the absence of proper material, or perhaps out of ignorance about the alternatives, this person decided to make a connection in his\/her own way.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7864\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beijer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/draadinstekker703x225_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"703\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.beijer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/draadinstekker703x225_2.jpg 703w, https:\/\/www.beijer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/draadinstekker703x225_2-300x96.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 703px) 100vw, 703px\" \/>The photo leaves nothing to be desired in terms of clarity. An uninsulated wire is simply inserted into position, pulled out at the end and wrapped around the plug. A good example of what not to do. We thought it would be good to share this fact and point out the possibilities of establishing a good connection in such a situation. To wire a non-wired output, there are in many cases original terminals for sale that you attach to a wire with the right pliers. However, you need a fairly expensive pair of pliers for that. However, depending on the frequency and type of work, this is worth considering. A good pliers are, for example, those from Molex (art. no. 63819-0900).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7870\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beijer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/bedradeTerminal300x166.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"166\">A good alternative are wired terminals, as shown in this photo. This ensures a good connection in the plug and you only have to connect the wire end properly. You can order wired terminals, for example, from any VAG dealer (art. no. 000979009E). For the cost of such a terminal with a piece of wire you don&#8217;t have to leave it alone and you can save a lot of trouble.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ruud Huijer, 3 maart 2017.
